The dealer can also choose to block out certain calendar days for appointments to be scheduled, such as holidays or days they will be short-staffed. Additionally, they can also block one or two days out from being selected by the user, so an appointment cannot be requested in the evening for the very next morning. This gives the service staff more of a heads-up regarding the issue, and what kind of service needs to be provided.
